4 Towns Forward
The 4 Towns Forward mission is to organize and coordinate activities and events to further the economic and social growth in our communities of Afton, Bainbridge, Sidney and Unadilla.
4 Towns Forward, originally known as Vision 21, has evolved and transformed many times since it’s origination in November of 1996.
Our primary focus is to combine our communities’ resources to further the development of education, health, diversity and well-being across all four towns.
Most recently...
We wrote a grant which was accepted and awarded to the Bainbridge library. Allowing them to use the funds for much needed updates.
Another grant was written and awarded to The Community Center in Bainbridge. They razed the old scout house and erected a new community center for youth, elderly and civic functions.
We organized and promoted the annual 4 Towns Forward 16 mile yard sale in April.
We host “Small Business Saturday” every November; a collaborative effort with numerous businesses throughout the communities participating.
We won't be stopping there! We hope that the Southern Tier Music Festival is just another annual offering to better our communities, keep things fun and enhance growth!
